Basic R
Now that you have R and RStudio installed on your computer, it’s time to get cracking! Here we’ll go over essential skills like how to use objects (and what even an object anyways??). We’ll discuss things like data types and structures, and even introduce you to how to organize your workflow in R.
- Coding BasicsAssignment, operators, R as a calculator
- Data TypesThe important data types, how to identify types and change them
- Data StructuresHow data are structured as objects
- IndexingHow to index parts of objects in one, two, and three dimensions
- PackagesThe use of packages, which ones are worthwhile, and why you should be (sometimes) wary
- WorkflowHow to make things reproducible and easy to understand through workflow management
